From Optimist Dinghy to Olympic
At the age of four, I was placed in an Optimist dinghy. It was a completely different experience from playing football, but sailing quickly captivated me and became a way of life—a passion that still plays a big role in my life today. The Optimist dinghy turned into a 29er and eventually into the Olympic 49er.
Sailing a boat like the 49er demands a unique approach to teamwork. When the wind picks up, and you need to balance the boat to prevent it from capsizing while still moving forward, it requires strong communication, trust, and clear agreements on roles and responsibilities.
The lessons and values I’ve gained from sailing have become invaluable in my professional life, where teamwork and strategy are just as crucial.
THE CAMERA AS A TOOL
For me, a camera has always been a tool to explore my creativity.
It all started when I combined my passion for elite sports with photography, and before long, the focus shifted from the sport itself to the camera.
I began helping my sailing teammates create content for their sponsors, which sparked a deeper interest. Over time, I’ve integrated the power of the camera into marketing—using it to tell brand stories, showcase products, and share the narratives of ambassadors and personal journeys.
Over the past three years, I have worked on various marketing campaigns, where I’ve combined creativity with data to ensure the best results. For example A/B testing hook, identifying which clip captures the consumer’s attention most effectively or we can leverage previous data to develop new concepts or optimize existing ones into a 2.0 version.
What I hope you remember after reading this
I am an energetic person who loves being around others – both socially and professionally. My creativity is my primary strength, which I combine with solid experience from various teams and marketing campaigns.
Personally, I am open and dedicated, putting a lot of energy into achieving the goals I set for myself. I love the process of developing something from idea to reality. There will always be ups and downs, but when you embrace them and succeed, the feeling on the other side is incredibly rewarding.
